A spur of a moment decision led me to my beautiful friends who are teaching in Madrid, Spain – who I can’t thank enough for hosting me in their home while I was there. On days when they were teaching, I was out wandering the city of Madrid. It was absolutely beautiful. The colors, the art and the vibe shook my soul. On the long weekend, we headed to Gran Canaria island of the Canary Islands. We spent countless hours on the beach, long dinners laughing and just enjoying time together.
