A spur of a moment decision led me to my beautiful friends who are teaching in Madrid, Spain – who I can’t thank enough for hosting me in their home while I was there. On days when they were teaching, I was out wandering the city of Madrid. It was absolutely beautiful. The colors, the art and the vibe shook my soul. On the long weekend, we headed to Gran Canaria island of the Canary Islands. We spent countless hours on the beach, long dinners laughing and just enjoying time together. Here are my favorite images from the trip and I hope you can feel the happiness and love in them too.
For my cousin Maddie’s 25th birthday, four of us traveled to Cancun, Mexico to relax, laugh and celebrate. We spent countless hours on the beach, explored Chichen Itza and swam in the Ik Kil cenote. To make a long list of unforgettable moments short, it was a wonderful place to be in December. Here’s to #MGLturns25 :)
In March of 2014, I headed off to the Dominican Republic with my family for spring break. It. Was. Glorious. Now that it is 2015, I figured it was time to getting around to editing them! Missing that warm sunshine & this beautiful country.
This was my very first trip to Bermuda and it absolutely stole a piece of my heart. I was there collaborating with my incredible cousin, Gracie, the artist of Taskafish. She and her other cousin took me all over the island and gave me the adventure of a lifetime! I coincidentally happened to be there during the World Rugby Classic which meant I got to meet a ton of athletes from around the world. You’ll see a photo of some of the Italian Rugby team in the blog. I got to experience the turquoise waters, feeding a dolphin, rum swizzles and hours of laughter. So thrilled to start this ongoing work with Gracie of Taskafish and to have had this beautiful opportunity! Did I mention Gracie is amazing? ;)
It is embarrassing that it has taken me over a year to go through the thousands of my Italy photos. This was an incredibly special trip to me and these are some of my absolute favorites. This art-venture with my mom was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m so glad she and I got to take it! We had SO much fun and fell in love with Italy. :)
Each of these photos are available as prints if you are interested. Just send me a message!
I attended the National Association of Convenience Stores convention this week in Las Vegas! I cannot rave about the gorgeous city lights enough. City lights are a weakness of mine… you can see why! On our last day, we had brunch at Peppermill Diner – it was SO good. Plus, they had rainbow sugar which I was obsessed with. :)
